Lucious Lemon!

This little golden nugget of love is bold and zesty and Oh So Good!!  Tart lemon cake topped with a cream cheese frosting and some fresh grated lemon peel makes this sugary, sweet and tangy all in the same bite!! YUMMM!

...and why not make a nice little lemon cake loaf with the leftover batter!!?? I made a lemon glaze for the top that was seriously good enough to bathe in! OOhhh....this makes me happy!  

Pucker Up!!

Key Lime Pie Cupcakes!! Mamma said knock you outtt!!  My personal favorite so far!!!  They are moist and sweet and tangy and refreshing!  And that mountain of goodness on top...outrageous!!  I think I might offer "frosting shots" for this one!!
 This recipe is a KEEPER for sure!! YUM!

I think we had consumed wayyy to much sugar by this point in the night!!  Small perk of breaking into the biz but they still looked cute all jazzed up on the plate!

A Plate of LOVE!

(Ok...so I know this isnt a cupcake...but I want to share all things great!)
Chicken Verde Enchiladas wrapped in corn tortillas and topped with cool creamy sour cream.  Its like Christmas morning when you bite into these little packages of love.....

By FAR the very best I have ever made!! I am actually kinda sad that dinner is over.

Its all about trial and error..and these have been a HUGE hit!

P.S. The kids' Nemo bowl that ackwardly fell out of my cabinet quickly became a casualty to the swirling cake batter!!!

Does this make me sound crazy??!

So, this is me...a stay at home wife and mother...30 years young with a witty and hilarious 4 year old daughter and an adorable and spunky 6 month old son!  My husband works hard to keep our heads above water and suddenly I'm flooded, smacked, woken up night after night with more ideas than I can wrap my brain around!  I've been feeling like I'm being being pulled in 10 different directions with only a select few things making any sense whatsoever!  (Hence the quickly vetoed underwater basket weaving idea at 3am)
After lots of prayer and mental pep talks, I have decided to pursue my In-Home Day Care License and am going out on a limb to create girls hair accessories AND start a cupcake business!!!  I mean, who doesn't like hair pretties and sinful sweets, right!?   The core of who I am tells me that this is a no brainer...so when it feels THIS right, how can it be WRONG?! 
My immediate family is largely made up of entrepreneurs and I feel as though I am finally catching up!
I intend to use this blog to not only share my trials, tribulations and celebrations of life, but also to share with you my creative and culinary accomplishments and failures!  Its long overdue that I finally earn my black belt at this thing we call LIFE!
